Thursday...more of the same (and all good!)
I dropped Susan off at the hospital so she could spend the morning with the nurses there. She saw the maternity department and found notable differences compared to US practices.
I spent most of the morning on the phone with Qatar airlines. It is a long story, but I am not longer a fan of that airline. Their customer service is terrible.
Then at the dental school, I watched Manisha treat this difficult calcified-canal tooth.
This is Dr. Prayash, my friend and one of the pediatric dental faculty. The x-ray is of her mother's tooth. Her mother is here, visiting from the USA. Dr. Anil treated her seriously compromised tooth today.
In the afternoon, Susan and I had lunch at the Bamboo Cafe. At first we sat in the open air, but it was cold so we moved to a table under the roof.
This is the view looking out the back door of the Bamboo Cafe.
Free range chickens are ubiquitous here.
We had dinner at the DLR restaurant. We both had the chicken basket, which is fried medallions of chicken breast with fries. I have had this before and enjoyed it.
