Friday -- Dr. Walsh arrives in Nepal

Manisha offered me this interesting treat with my morning coffee. It was like a hard doughnut made with sesame flour.

Manisha and I worked with these second year students in the preclinical laboratory.

My colleague and former student/resident and current endodontist, Dr. Ryan Walsh arrived from Dallas, Texas, USA today. Nisha brought him to the school. We had lunch at the canteen and then we all went to the Dhulikhel Lodge Resort. All of us are staying here because the Nepal Endodontic Association meeting is here this weekend.

At the DLR, we met up with Ryan's friend, Ross, who is an orthodontist from California. We had beers!

I walked back to my room at the Hospital to pick up a few things. Along the way, I saw this woman drying lentils for dal.

Back at the DLR, we had an evening poolside gathering of the meetings' speakers and organizing committee members. Beers, snacks and dinner were served.

After more than a few beers, I was asleep early!
