Sunday: We go to Dhulikhel and visit the dental school
Dash picked us up early on Sunday. Remember: Nepalis don't get Sunday as a day off. He drove us to Dhulikhel and deposited us at the Dhulikhel Lodge Resort (DLR). You may recall that I stayed here for the first week or so when I arrived in Nepal in November. It is very nice. This is the view from my room. It was very polluted so I couldn't see the Himalayas.
After we checked in, we made the walk to the hospital/school. At the school, Dash had delivered two big FedEx boxes that Leslie had transported as luggage. In these boxes were 10 endodontic motors. These motors were gifted by in anonymous donor in the US. The dental school here is very grateful and will make good use of this donation.
The school's electrical technician helped us convert these from 110 US power to the local 220/230 current here.
Leslie toured the school and viewed the simulation lab.
The CONS/ENDO clinic was busy.
We took Leslie to the Canteen for lunch.
