Tuesday -- We Return to Nepal!

Dash, Nisha and I went out for breakfast and I had coffee. We were tricked by a tuk-tuk driver into an overly long trip to nowhere, I was so glad to be shepherded by these Hindi speakers, I can't imagine travelling there solo. India has given me a new appreciation for Nepal. Nepal is civilized. I can walk down the street in Kathmandu and no one approaches me or accosts me. In Delhi, it is continual barrage of hucksters trying to get your attention and wanting to rip-you-off.

This is Dash & Nisha's breakfast. These aren't doughnuts, but are some kind of vegetable fritter. The white pudding is some kind of cocoanut (maybe yoghurt?). The big crepe thing on the far plate is filled with a curried potato and vegetable filling.

The lines were long at the airport and our flight was nearly on time. While waiting, I had a turkey sandwich at Subway. The subway menu has no beef or pork and it has two separated sections: vegetarian and "non-veg."

I got into bed at the Kathmandu Kumari Inn around 9PM and was quickly asleep.
