Activities for the week of November 21.

I attended the Monday morning management meeting for the Dhulikhel Hospital. I was impressed with the magnitude and quality of its departments and operations. The hospital has 7 operating rooms and on this day had 36 anesthesia surgeries scheduled.

This is a map of the hospital campus. Unlike a US hospital; which would have departments in a single high-rise building, this hospital is spread out in a campus with departments in various buildings. The dental school building is indicated in the upper left.

This is a new "Patient Wards" building that is under construction just uphill from the dental school building.

I am participating in teaching activities. Here I am teaching a 4th year seminar. 

Here is Dr. Chakradhar teaching the first year students preclinical lab course for conservative dentistry and endodontics.
